Our Ethical Standards

At Casa Living, we’re committed to acting ethically, transparently, and responsibly in all areas of our work. The policies below outline how we operate and the standards we expect of ourselves and those we work with.

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Awareness

While we are not legally required to publish a formal Modern Slavery Statement, we recognise that the housing sector can present risks and we take a zero-tolerance approach to exploitation of any kind.

We are committed to:

  • Acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships

  • Remaining alert to signs of exploitation, coercion, or unsafe occupation

  • Ensuring tenants understand their tenancy and have direct access to us as their managing agent

  • Carrying out Right to Rent checks in line with legal requirements

  • Escalating concerns to the appropriate authority where necessary

We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking within our operations or supply chains.

Ethical Contractors & Suppliers

We aim to work only with contractors and suppliers who operate lawfully, safely, and responsibly.

We expect all contractors and suppliers to:

  • Comply with relevant employment, health and safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Hold appropriate insurance and certifications

  • Operate in a professional and transparent manner

We reserve the right to cease working with any contractor or supplier where serious concerns are identified.

Safeguarding & Vulnerable Persons

Casa Living recognises that some tenants may be vulnerable due to age, health, language barriers, financial circumstances, or personal situation.

We are committed to:

  • Treating all tenants fairly, respectfully, and without discrimination

  • Ensuring tenants are provided with clear and accurate information

  • Remaining alert to signs of intimidation, exploitation, or unsafe living conditions

  • Taking appropriate action where safeguarding concerns are identified

Where concerns arise, we will follow appropriate procedures and seek guidance or support from relevant authorities where required.

Compliance & Professional Standards

Casa Living is committed to complying with all relevant legislation and best-practice standards within the UK lettings and property management sector.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Right to Rent requirements

  • Property safety and licensing obligations

  • Accurate and transparent marketing

  • Fair treatment of landlords and tenants

Our policies are reviewed periodically and updated as required to reflect changes in legislation or best practice.
